SSC CGL Exam Pattern 2022 - The Staff Selection Commission prescribed the SSC CGL 2022 exam form in the official announcement on their website ssc.nic.in. Candidates who are planning to appear in the SSC CGL exam have to check the pattern of SSC CGL 2022 before their preparation. With the support of the SSC CGL exam procedure 2022, the candidates will be updated about the levels of the exam, duration, and marks.

The SSC CGL 2022 exam pattern will be of 2 stages, i.e.; the tier 1 and tier 2 exams which will be led through online mode. Here we can find all the exam patterns of SSC CGL 2022, candidates will find all the related information like the phases, marking, and time duration of the exam.

4. SSC CGL exam pattern 2022 - Tier 1

Candidates who successfully give the SSC CGL application form 2022, will be eligible to attend the tier exam of SSC CGL. THE SSC CGL tier 1 exam will be conducted through a computer-based that is online mode. The questions in this SSC CGL tier 1 exam will be based on subjects like General Intelligence & Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude test, and English Knowledge.

In this SSC CGL tier 1, there will be negative markings for wrong answers tried by the candidate. The negative marking for a wrong answer will be of 0.50 Marks for each wrong written answer. Some important points to be noted:

a. It is a computer-based objective which is an online exam

b. It contains questions like Objective Type and Multiple choice.

c. The questions will be given in both English and Hindi excluding English Comprehension. 

SSC CGL exam pattern for Tier 2

Candidates who are qualified in tier 1 will be eligible to attempt tier 2. As per the exam procedure of SSC CGL 2022, tier 2 is also led in computer-based online mode, though, the difficulty level will be a bit high compared to tier 1.

The questions given in tier 2 will be created on basis of Quantitative Ability, Statistics, General Studies, and English Language along with Comprehension. From the given table, the candidates will be able to check the information on the SSC CGL exam pattern for tier 2.

SSC CGL 2022 exam procedure:

Tier II will contain of Paper-I, Paper-II, and Paper-III in distinct shifts of days.

a. Paper-I is necessary for all the posts.

b. Paper-II will be for those who apply for the positions of Junior Statistical Office in the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Execution and who are qualified in Tier-I for the Posts.

c. Paper-III will be for only the candidates who are qualified in Tier-I for Paper-III means for the posts of Assistant Audit Officer or Assistant Accounts Officer.

d. Tier-II (Paper-I, Paper-II, and Paper-III) will contain Objective questions, Multiple choice questions, excluding Module 2 of Section III of Paper-I. These questions will be given in English and Hindi except other than in the English Language and Comprehension unit in Section II of Paper-I.

e. There will also contain a negative marking of 1 mark for the wrong answer in Section-I, Section-II, and Module-I of Section-III of Paper-I and 0.50 marks for the wrong answer in Paper-II and Paper-III.

SSC CGL syllabus 2022
