AICTE approved Engineering Colleges in Delhi

AICTE or the All India Council of Technical Education is a National level Apex Advisory body that conducts a survey of the facilities and resources available in a technical Institute.AICTE is under the aegis of the Department of Higher Education, Government of India and its main objective is to plan and develop the Technical Higher Education Institutes in the country.

The different roles performed by the All India Council of Technical Education for the AICTE approved colleges include the following: 

  • Act as a statutory authority to implement the standards of a Technical Institute.
  • To allot funds in the required areas of the Technical Institute.
  • Offer quality assurance to the Technical Institutes.
  • Develop the Technical Education system in India.
  • To maintain the status of the Certificates and awards of the AICTE-approved Engineering colleges in Delhi.

The AICTE-approved colleges follow certain schemes like Student Development schemes, Faculty Development schemes, Institutional Development schemes, Research and Innovation Development schemes, and General schemes like rural development schemes.
