1. Sub Staff:- Sub Staff is the initial or we can say the lowest cadre among all the posts in banking sector. The job role is of a peon or a sweeper at a bank administrative office or branch. There is a scope of promotion in case a candidate possesses the required skills and obtains a minimum required educational qualification.


2. Bank Clerks:- Candidates aged between 18 to 28 years can apply for this post however one needs to fulfill the educational qualification criteria. You need atleast 60% marks in your higher secondary exams (12th). This job role involves day-to-day tasks such as account opening, FD opening, passbook entry, and marketing various products of the bank. 3. Probation Offer:- Also known as Management trainees, Bank PO (Probationary Officers) are appointed to look after various tasks such as managing the cash, account opening, compliance, and marketing the products of the banks. The Post of PO is one of the most important and high-demand bank posts in India. There is a huge growth scope after becoming a probationary officer, One can get promoted as an Assistant Manager based on their performance, Once a PO acquires enough experience, he/she becomes eligible to perform some specialized work such as planning, budgeting, promoting, loan processing and managing investment. 


4. Bank Specialist:- They are the specialist officers recruited in various departments of banks such as marketing, systems, engineering, public relations, and management. These specialist officers help the banks to determine whether a company that is applying for a loan would be able to pay back the loan or not, based on their analysis the bank makes the decision about whether the loan should be sanctioned or not. Speaking of the career growth possibilities, it is limited however you can get a handsome pay package as a Bank specialist officer, especially in metropolitan cities. 


5. Manager/ Assistant Manager:- Candidates who have completed their MBA and possess atleast 3 to years of job experience as a Probationary Officer can apply for the post of Manager or Assistant Manager. No entrance exam is conducted by the banks to recruit for these posts, candidates are merely promoted to these posts. A Bank Manager is responsible for leading the bank employees in fulfilling their duties, Sometimes they also have to meet the customers in order to submit their complaints and resolve their problems subjected to bank services. 


6. RBI Grade "B" Offer:- As you may already know, the Reserve Bank of India is the regulating body of all the banks in India. RBI is responsible for forming the banking regulations which must be complied with by all the private as well as public banks, To become an RBI Grade "B" Officer, one has to pass the RBI Grade "B" entrance exam which is one of the toughest banking exams in India. After qualifying for the exam and the interview, you will start as a Manager and  will be able to move up in the hierarchy based on your performance and experience.


NABARD Grade "A" Officers 

National Bank for Agriculture & Rural Development (NABARD) is a regulatory body that regulates the regional rural banks and cooperative banks in India. The roles and responsibilities of a NABARD Grade "A" Officer include performing various managerial tasks related to Agriculture and Development. To get appointed as a NABARD Grade "A" officer, you require to qualify for an examination that consists of three phases - Prelims, Mains and Interview. Certain eligibility requirements must be fulfilled before applying for this job. The candidate needs atleast 60% marks (55% for reserved category candidates) in Graduation. Any candidate who is aged between 21 years to 30 years and fulfills all the educational requirements can apply for the NABARD Grade "A" Officer Recruitment Process.
