What is IMU CET Entrance Exam?

IMU CET stands for Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test, As the full form suggests, this test is conducted by Indian Maritime University to provide admissions to various UG (except BBA), PG, and research courses. Indian Maritime University educates the candidates, so they can pursue a career in Merchant Navy, And all the courses offered by IMU are related to Ships, logistics, and marine engineering.

Headquartered in Chennai, Indian Maritime University is known for training merchant navy aspirants but there are limited seats available in this university, therefore it conducts IMU-CET entrance exam to shortlist the candidates for admissions.

IMU CET application Form 2023 is expected to be released in the 3rd week of March 2023.

The IMU CET Application Form 2023 link will be activated till the last week of May 2023. The IMU CET 2023 Application form window will be closed by the end of the month. 

How to apply for IMU CET?

To apply for IMU CET 2023 entrance exam, you need to visit the official website of Indian Maritime University, Chennai. Here is a step-by-step guide to filling IMU CET Form 2023:

  • Visit the official website of IMU i.e imu.edu.in
  • Find the IMU CET 2023 Application/Registration Link on the homepage. 
  • Click on it. 
  • Now you will be redirected to a new page where you'll have to provide your basic details such as your name, contact no., and email address. 
  • Verify the OTP sent on your registered mobile no. , Then Create a password. 
  • After registering with the website, you can proceed further by filling out your IMU CET Application form 2023.
  • Enter all the detail required in the form correctly. 
  • Upload the required documents in specific formats. 
  • Pay the IMU CET Application fee using the acceptable netbanking mode. 
  • Submit your application after successful payment.

What are the documents required to fill IMU CET 2023 application form?

All the candidates are required to upload some documents in their IMU CET 2023 Application Form 2023 in the instructed format, failure to do so will be subject to the rejection of the application form and the application fee will not be refunded in this case.   • Passport Size  photograph
  • Image of Scanned signature
  • Class 10th passing certificate
  • Class 12th passing certificate
  • Category Certificate (if applicable)

  • General & OBC category candidates - Rs 1000
  • ST & SC category candidates candidates - Rs 700
